'Supernatural' preview: Jared Padalecki gets a 'whoopin' from some angry clowns
Before the brothers get back to work, though, Dean ( Jensen Ackles) has to recover from his rather harrowing experience in last week's episode. Apparently, being confronted by his monster daughter and then leaving her to die on the floor wasn't exactly his idea of an awesome Friday night -- particularly given the fact that the Amazon women got away, and they seem to have fallen off the grid.
Watch the clip below to see how Dean's handling the whole thing. "A few simple rules, okay," he says. "No babies. No baby mamas. No bars, no booze, no hot chicks of any kind."
It's not exactly Dean's usual mantra, but it gives him the confidence to head to Kansas, where a Chuck E. Cheese-type place called Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie is bringing kids' worst nightmares to life. In fact, Plucky Pennywhistle's may be the very place where Sam's fear of clowns began.
When the clowns turn on Sam, it's not exactly comedic relief, as you can see from these photos. "It's not just like oh, it's a cute beating," Padalecki told us when we visited the set of the show last week. "It's a whoopin'. It took over a day to film us fighting through all different parts, myself and two clowns. It was a lot of fun, but I couldn't walk for like two days [after], because it was so labor intensive. I think I'm tougher than I am."
The episode airs Friday at 9 p.m. EST on The CW. Keep an eye on Zap2it later this week for more from our visit with Padalecki and Ackles.
