'Supernatural': Sam and Dean Winchester get attacked by evil fairies

spn-fairy-320.jpgAfter a series of heartbreaking "Supernatural" episodes (yes, we cried, are you happy, Sera Gamble?), we could use a little bit of light-hearted fun from our favorite disaster-prone demon hunters. The Nov. 19 episode, "Clap Your Hands if You Believe" looks like it may be just that.

The episode, which gets its title from Peter Pan's assertion that if fairy believers clap hard enough, an ailing Tinkerbell could find the energy to live, begins with Sam ( Jared Padalecki) and Dean ( Jensen Ackles) investigating a possible UFO sighting near some crop circles. Dean is unexpectedly abducted (which is no surprise, given his string of bad luck this season).

Turns out it's a trick - and since the Trickster is dead, it's got to be... fairies.

Yes, fairies get the jump on Dean Winchester. This ought to be good. Since Dean is the only one who can see the creatures, Sam has some trouble tracking them down -- but his dogged investigation ultimately leads to an enchanted world that includes elves, gnomes, and a leprechaun.

We can't be the only ones looking forward to seeing the very, very tall Winchesters tower over some elves, right? And, judging by the sneak peek photos below, we might just get our wish.

What do you think, Zappers? Will the fairies get the better of the Winchesters? Might these creatures help lead Sam and Dean to the "alpha" monsters they've spent this season hunting? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
