Syfy debuts 'Outer Space' comedy Dec. 8, Ray Bradbury shops miniseries
The cable network will premiere its five-episode comedy series "Outer Space Astronauts" on Tuesday, Dec. 8, before the "Scare Tactics" season finale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Astronauts," which combines live action and animation, centers on the galactic adventures of eight astronauts on board the O.S.S. Oklahoma.

- The legendary Ray Bradbury will be shopping around his six-hour miniseries to the networks. The six-parter will feature six of the "Farenheit 451" author's classic short stories interpreted by six different directors, to be determined.
- "The New Adventures of Old Christine" creator Kari Lizer has signed a three-year development deal with Warner Bros. Television to create shows for the studio. She'll continued to be the showrunner on "Christine."
