Just in case you needed a reason not to eat at Taco Bell, an employee of a California store comes through in spades. A photo of a Taco Bell employee popped up on Facebook. A user under the name Jj O'Brien Nolan posted the photo to the company's page with a complaint, "This sure says a lot about your employees, food treatment, and what they post on the internet." In the photo, the employee is holding a stack of taco shells and appears to be licking them.

it turns out this isn't a revolutionary new way to season tacos, as the  various Dorito incarnations already take care of that. When asked for a comment, the manager of the restaurant the person is affiliated with simply says they are "dealing with it."

The Taco Bell corporation has a bit more to say though, and released a statement. "Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and team members, and we have strict food handling procedures and zero tolerance for any violations," a company spokesman said in a statement. "When we learned of the situation we immediately contacted this restaurant's leadership and although we believe it is a prank and the food was not served to customers, we are conducting a full scale investigation and will be taking swift action against those involved."

No word on how hard this shameful news is hitting the guy who got a Taco Bell burrito tattooed on his arm.
