"Talking Dead" recently hit an all-time high of 5.2 million viewers (including 3.3. million adults 18-49) for its Season 2 finale following the Season 3 finale of ratings smash "The Walking Dead." That's more viewers than some network shows are averaging these days, and "Talking Dead" is just a weekly talk show in which host Chris Hardwick discusses the week's episode of "The Walking Dead" with guests including key cast and crew from "Walking" and celebrity fans.

The format has proved so successful for AMC that the network will try to duplicate it for the final season of "Breaking Bad" with a new series called "Talking Bad."

"Comic Book Men," executive produced by Kevin Smith, is also heading into Season 3, while the "Freakshow" renewal is for Season 2.
