Tara Reid doesn't like to be called a "hot mess." She especially doesn't like it when her former "American Pie" co-star Jason Biggs calls her a "hot mess" on "Watch What Happens Live." The "Sharknado" actress has expressed this on Twitter.

Although Biggs originally made the joke back on his Oct. 8 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" -- the actor was told to come up with prison nicknames, a la "Orange Is the New Black" -- Reid didn't hear about the joke made at her expense until she returned from a trip to Israel on Sunday (Oct. 20). The actress didn't waste any time in calling out Biggs on the insult.

Reid posted the following on Twitter:

"@JasonBiggs it's really sad I just landed in LA and the first thing I read about you that you are calling me a hot mess.i I've supported u !"

Biggs, who apparently didn't mean his comments as an insult, responded a few hours later:

"@TaraReid I love u Tara, it was a joke! Didnt mean to offend, Totally kidding around! it was a game! Xoxoxo"

In the time since Reid's initial tweet, Biggs also managed to make jokes at the expense of Courtney Stodden and Lindsay Lohan. It kind of looks like mocking others might be part of his thing, not something Reid should take personally.

It could have been worse, considering some of the other nicknames Biggs came up with for his various former co-stars, like "Pap Smear" for Alec Baldwin and "Frank Sinatra" for Woody Allen. Based on those, Reid may have gotten off easy.
