Taylor Swift's CMA thank yous: Scrawled on her arm just in case!
Country darling Taylor Swift took home the most highly coveted award at the Country Music Awards in Nashville on Wednesday night when, for the second year in a row, she won Entertainer of the Year. Barbara Mandrell is the only other female to win twice.
On her recent North American tour, Swift delighted fans by writing lyrics from her favorite songs on her arms, keeping us guessing as to whose words she'd display each night. At the CMAs, she used her arm as a notebook again -- but for a different purpose.
"This is a list of people that I wanted to thank, because they were the artists that came out and did special guests performances on my tour," she told Access Hollywood. "I wanted to thank them, so I did, and I didn't want to forget anybody. There are 18 people to thank."
It's sweet that she didn't want to forget anybody... it's slightly less sweet that she was so sure she'd win that she wrote her thank-yous on her body, instead of on a discreet scrap of paper. We love her anyway.
At the end of the night, she tweeted a photo of her list, and, of course, of her cat, Meredith. Aww.
