'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans arrested with fiance for domestic violence, drug possession
According to Evans' attorney, Dustin Sullivan, Gary was charged with assault on a female, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Jenelle, who was released on bond Monday afternoon, was charged with simple assault, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance -- all misdemeanors -- Sullivan said.
Jenelle's years-long struggle with marijuana addiction has been well documented on "Teen Mom 2," including her stint in rehab. (She admitted in the show's February reunion special that she had relapsed). She also has a history of physical confrontations and was arrested for assault in March 2011 after a brutal brawl with another woman was captured on video.
Nor is this the first time the 20-year-old reality star has been been involved in a skirmish with a boyfriend: She pressed charges against now-ex Kieffer Delp for domestic abuse. Their fight, his jailing and subsequent release (after Jenelle requested the charges be dropped) were all captured by MTV cameras and featured on the second season of "Teen Mom 2."
Jenelle's 2-year-old son, Jace, currently lives with his grandmother, who has legal custody of the child.
