'Teen Mom's' Amber Portwood charged with felony

teen-mom-amber-portwood.pngMake a note, reality TV stars of the world. When abusing your spouse, make sure the cameras are off. Or, you know... don't beat your spouse at all. That might be a better option. "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood learned this lesson the hard way after beating up her baby's father, Gary Shirley.

TMZ has learned that on Dec. 27, the Madison County Prosecutor's Office officially charged Amber with two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent - because their daughter Leah witnessed the incident - and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.

Amber attacked Gary three separate times between August 2009 and July 2010. Because she's female, the attacks have been referred to as "reverse abuse" in the media. You can view footage of one of the attacks here, via TMZ. Or... you can save yourself the brain cells.
