'Teen Wolf' at Comic-Con 2014: Season 5, Dylan Sprayberry, death and Danny's returnAdd to Favorites | Teen Wolf
What did they talk about? Get the highlights here.
The big news from the panel was of course the announcement of the show's Season 5 renewal for 20 episodes. Going along with that was the news that new cast member Sprayberry would be a series regular in the upcoming season. This means that his character of Liam will only grow in importance. "He's ready to be a werewolf, but he's not ready to be a hero," Davis says of the littlest wolf.
Relationships came up during the panel as well. When asked about Malia and Stiles, for example, are "unique," according to Hennig. "They're unlike most relationships in high school," she adds. That relationship may not last too well though. "They may have a rocky road ahead," Davis hints. "When a certain secret about her parentage comes out."
Lydia got some love during the panel, with cast and producer all teasing that secrets about Lydia's powers and the Martin family's history are coming later in the current season. As for Roden, she's just happy to have "some romantic freedom" this season.
It wasn't talked about much, but death and betrayal were major themes of the trailer shown for the rest of Season 4. Not only does it appear that Derek dies at some point, the video also shows both Scott and Kira (Arden Cho) covered in blood. And then there's that moment when it appears that Peter Hale may be in cahoots with Kate Argent to destroy Scott.
One last important tease from the panel -- despite his absence from the early part of Season 4, Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) is coming back.
"Teen Wolf" Season 4 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
