'Teen Wolf': Tyler Posey teases more changes for Scott in Season 3
"Teen Wolf" fans have already seen a whole new Scott in Season 3 of the hit MTV show, but it turns out that there are plenty more changes in store for Tyler Posey's character during the rest of this season.
"Scott is looking into his heart and trying to be the best guy he can, which is hard in the Beacon Hills world because so much evilness and non-trusting people and double-crossing that it's really hard to keep a straight path of where you're going," Posey tells Zap2it on the 2013 Saturn Awards red carpet. "So Scott really tries hard to stick to the path of the good guy and not kill anybody and be the good guy -- so no, I can't tease anything [more of the changes]."
According to Posey, this experience of getting to show a new side of his fan-favorite character has been a blast for him. "The new Scott is so much fun to play," he says. "He is my favorite role now -- always has been, but now it's even more so. Scott is just surprising me with every single thing that he does, and it's so much fun to shoot and watch. I love watching the finished product. I always impress myself. I'm very proud of myself. It's cool to watch."
Zap2it recently put "Teen Wolf" on the list of TV shows to spend the summer catching up on. Posey agrees that this is a series that more people should be watching.
"'Teen Wolf' is by far the most entertaining thing I've ever seen in my life. It is full of action, comedy, romance, hilariousness -- comedy, I already said that twice -- but it's also really relatable. A lot of the situations that we go through with our characters are super relatable," he explains. "Even though it's about werewolves and stuff, you've got your first love, you've got your high school, you've got best friends, you've got your first car, your first motorcycle; literally everything is tackled in our supernatural world. It just creates for great TV."
But what about all the shirtless men? Isn't that a reason for people to watch? "I left that part out because I don't really care about the shirtless men really, but yes, that is a very good reason as to why people should watch this show is because you see my nipples a lot," Posey says.
"Teen Wolf" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. PT on MTV. Posey and the rest of the cast will also be holding a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 18. Watch the above video to hear what Posey is looking forward to at Comic-Con this year. Hint: it has something to do with him finally turning 21.
