The 2012 ESPYs: Rob Riggle falls a little flat
Frankly, we found ourselves wishing Seth Meyers had come back. He hosted the past two years and we found his opening monologues to be much funnier. Riggle's monologue was pretty tame and not terribly gut-busting.
He had a few funny jokes. As far as Jeremy Lin's crazy year for the New York Knicks, Riggle said, "It's so refreshing to see a young Asian kid graduate from Harvard, move to New York and make a ton of money."
But overall, we were left a little underwhelmed. What did you think? We'll post video as soon as we have it, in case you missed it.
