One day after appearing at the MTV Movie Awards, where he accepted the 2013 Generation Award, Jamie Foxx was spotted back in New York on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." In the movie, Foxx plays the villainous Electro.
The character has the ability to control electricity, making him a formidable opponent for the web-slinging Spider-Man ( Andrew Garfield). The costume Foxx is wearing looks pretty simple, just a hoodie with LED lights built into the hood. However, his face has a very eerie blue tint that doesn't seem even a little friendly. Of course, it also looks like he could be suffering from a severe case of hypothermia. The character design is a dramatic departure from the comic book version of Electro, who is traditionally dressed in green and yellow.
Coming off of "Django Unchained," Foxx will next be seen as the president in "White House Down," which will be in theaters June 28. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" swings onto the big screen on May 2, 2014.
