Twitter continues to be a never-ending sea of information and photos from highly-anticipated movies. Director Marc Webb is contributing to the trend with pictures from the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." Early on in the movie's production, he tweeted a photo of B.J. Novak in character, which served as a casting announcement and a look at the film.
He's continued with several more pictures, one for each day of the production, but none of them focusing on characters. That changed Sunday (April 21), when Webb posted a photo of Jamie Foxx in character. Photos of Foxx as Electro appeared online on April 16, however the one from Webb features the character as he was before becoming the villain.
Prior to his transformation into Electro, the character was an electrical engineer named Maxwell Dillon. The photo from Webb is captioned "Day 52. My name is Max." It features Fox in glasses, with a pretty crazy comb over.
After that photo was released, another popped up. This one isn't from Webb, but was tweeted by actor Dane DeHaan. The picture features DeHaan in character as Peter Parker's best friend, Harry Osborn, son of Norman Osbourn. DeHaan added a message to his picture, reading, "Ladies & Gentleman, FanBoys & FanGirls of all ages: I give you The #Amazing Harry Osborn."
Previously, images have appeared of Shailene Woodley donning red hair for her role as Mary Jane Watson, along with a look at the redesigned Spider-Man suit. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" features the return of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone from the first movie, and is set for theaters on May 2, 2014.
