An upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" is going to be must-watch TV for any "Star Wars" fan. The show is joining forces with Lucasfilm for a very special "Star Wars" Day episode, which will re-create the planet Dagobah and include special guest star Bob Newhart.

The news comes from THR, who reports the May 1 episode, "The Proton Transmogrification," features the gang getting together to celebrate "Star Wars" Day, which is observed annually on May 4. Why May 4? "May the fourth be with you."

Not only did Lucasfilm re-create Dagobah for the episode, but the company also supplied special effects technicians and props, one of which is a lightsaber. Newhart will be returning as Professor Proton, appearing in a series of visions Sheldon (Jim Parsons) experiences. However, he will also be featured as an iconic character from the "Star Wars" franchise.

With a piece of the episode taking part on Dagobah, the planet Yoda was exiled to, perhaps that's the form Professor Proton will be taking in Sheldon's mind. Is there an actor alive who could play Yoda better? As for now, the show is keeping which "Star Wars" character Newhart plays under wraps.

You're not going to want to miss "The Big Bang Theory's" "Star Wars" Day episode, Thursday (May 1) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
