'The Big Bang Theory': Leonard Nimoy to guest; It's Sheldon's dream come true

leonard-nimoy-2009-getty.jpgBig news for "Big Bang" fans! "Star Trek" legend Leonard Nimoy will guest in an upcoming episode...sort of.

TVLine is reporting that the man who played Mr. Spock will speak as his character to Sheldon ( Jim Parsons) during a dream sequence. Sadly he will not be seen in the March 29 episode.

Spock, and "Star Trek" in general, is a recurring theme on the nerd comedy. The cast has modified Rock-Paper-Scissors to the more complex Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock. Plus there have been past guest appearances from former Trekers including George Takei and Wil Wheaton.

As for what message Nimoy will relay to the brilliant Dr. Cooper, that's unknown. But it's sure likely that Sheldon will barely be able to contain himself following the interaction.
