big-bang-theory-10611.jpgWe all know that Raj has trouble talking to women without a little bit of liquid courage. But after his "one-night stand" with Penny, it appears he's loosening up.

Well, sort of.

[Cue Spoiler Alert Warning]

On Thursday's (Oct. 6) episode of " The Big Bang Theory," Penny ( Kaley Cuoco) introduces Raj ( Kunal Nayyar) to Emily ( Katie LeClerc), a deaf woman she knows from the gym. Because Emily can't hear what he's saying, Raj is able to relax and, with the some sign language help from Howard ( Simon Helberg), talk to a woman.

The relationship between the two advances quickly. Raj soon buys Emily jewelry, pays off her credit cards and even leases a car for her. But the crew suspects something's amiss with this woman. Is she in this relationship for love or money?

Ultimately Raj's parents hear of his excessive spending and make him choose between access to their vast family wealth or the woman he loves. He chooses love and Emily, well, she has a decision to make.

And then there's Sheldon's ( Jim Parsons) mustache which is the unfortunate result of leaving decisions to the roll of the dice.

Nerds live the most interesting lives.
