'Big Bang Theory's' Jim Parsons on his Emmy nomination: 'Bittersweet'

We talked to "The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parsons at San Diego Comic-Con and, well, it's never too late to share some Sheldon with the world.

Parsons tells us what he was doing when he heard that he's up for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

"It was early, but I had been pre-warned by people that you should be ready to take interviews in case this happens," Parsons tells Zap2it. "Which is a really weird way to start the day, because you feel oddly presumptuous. I was scared, drinking coffee."

He did tell us that it was bittersweet (the announcement, not the coffee), since the CBS show itself didn't get a major Emmy nod.

Nevertheless, don't you think the Emmy voters got it right with Parsons' Emmy nom?
