The CW gives script order to Rashida Jones, sister Kidada Jones for 'The Revengers' dramedy
Although she's leaving "Parks and Recreation," Rashida Jones is on a roll.
After her comedy "Stuck" landed a put-pilot commitment at Fox, Rashida -- along with her older sister Kidada Jones -- has earned a script order from The CW for the dramedy "The Revengers" (formerly known as "Ladyballs"), The Hollywood Reporter reports.
The hour-long comedic drama is about two twenty-something estranged friends in search of love in NYC. The two are reunited after learning that they've been dating the same guy. When their plot to humiliate the two-timer goes viral, they realize that the payback business is actually a lucrative one, so they set up a clandestine business to continue dishing out justice for others who have been wronged.
Rashida, Will McCormack, Daniel Dubiecki, and Lara Alameddine will executive produce, "Prep School Confidential" author Kara Taylor will pen the script and co-executive produce, while model/actress/fashion designer Kidada will make her producing debut.
