shailene-woodley-the-fault-in-our-stars-jimmy-kimmel.jpg Shailene Woodley is having her moment right now. She's starred in some of this year's biggest movies like "Divergent" and "The Fault in our Stars" after achieving fame on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," and yet is so down-to-earth that she's homeless.

Yup, that's right: Hollywood's It Girl is homeless. Woodley appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday (May 15) and revealed that she gave away her house to her grandma.

So where does she sleep when she's back in L.A., not doing press or shooting movies? "Literally on friends' couches," Woodley says. "I was only here in L.A. for two months, so when you're home you kind of want to soak up faces and places. And then I leave again."

Couch-surfing is easy when you don't own a lot of possessions, and Woodley once again shocked by telling Kimmel that she got rid of mostly everything that she owned.

"I was only home for 15 days last year and I got home and I was like, 'I don't want to be alone. I want to be with my friends and family,'" Woodley says. "So I got rid of everything just so I could have one suitcase that would be easy to transport between houses and just kind of couch surf for a few months. But it's so refreshing and it takes so much stress away when you're like, 'Ugh, I only have one pair of jeans to wash.' It's so nice."

Everything she owns can fit in one "carry-on suitcase," Woodley reveals.
