"The Flash" pilot has added another cast member. Patrick Sabongui will play Central City Police Captain David Singh in the "Arrow" spinoff.

Although the role has a guest-starring status in the pilot episode, Sabongui's character could become recurring if the show is picked up to series by The CW (according to The Hollywood Reporter).

As a police captain, David Singh would be the boss of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), the young man who becomes the titular Flash. Others cast in the pilot include Jesse L. Martin (Detective West), Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon), Rick Cosnett (Detective Eddie Thawne) and John Wesley Shipp.

A stuntman as well as an actor, Sabongui has guest-starred in "Flash" executive producer Greg Berlanti's "Arrow" and "The Tomorrow People." He has also recently appeared on "Almost Human," "Nikita," "Psych" and more.
