The the fall TV season inching closer and closer, The CW has released posters for its two new shows, "The Flash" and "Jane the Virgin."
The image for "The Flash" shows the hero rocketing through the streets of Central City. While the lightning bolt pattern behind him is fitting given the character, it's a very inefficient way to run. Luckily, he's fast so that shouldn't hurt his response time too much.
The poster is also filled with with Easter eggs, for those who look closely. You may notice some very familiar buildings in the skyline.
"Jane the Virgin's" poster is a lot simpler, but says everything it needs to. The show is about a young religious woman who is accidentally artificially inseminated. In the image, she's clutching a positive pregnancy test close, with the plus symbol settling right about where a cross would around her neck. That's pretty clever.
"The Flash" premieres Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, while "Jane the Virgin" stars Monday, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
