glee-purple-piano-project-lea-michele.jpgNow that Oxygen has officially ordered a second season of last summer's reality hit "The Glee Project," we can stop talking about the series in hypothetical terms even though we all knew it was coming back.

The first official news about Season 2 -- other than the fact that it, you know, exists -- is that none other than "Glee" lead Lea Michele herself, otherwise known as New Directions star Rachel Berry, will be the very first guest judge.

Michele tweeted the news over the weekend (Jan. 21), writing, "So excited to announce that I'll be guest mentoring on the season 2 premiere of the Glee Project! I was such an amazing experience! All the kids are so talent! [sic] Can't wait for you guys to see it!"

Interestingly, "Glee" itself hasn't been renewed yet for a fourth season. But with creator  Ryan Murphy revealing that he has big plans for the graduating seniors of McKinley High for next year, it's only a matter of time before FOX makes it official too.
