kristin-chenoweth-good-wife.jpg Kristin Chenoweth, who had signed on to guest star on "The Good Wife" Season 4 as a political reporter digging into the Florricks' lives, has had to cut her guest-starring arc short after her on-set injury a month ago.

Chenoweth tells People in a statement, "It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to 'The Good Wife' at this time. [I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern."

The season premiere of "The Good Wife," airing Sunday, Sept. 30, will still feature Chenoweth's character, but beyond that, there is no word yet as to what will happen to that character or the storyline.

As fans of Chenoweth, we were excited to see the "West Wing" and "Pushing Daisies" alum on "The Good Wife," but obviously health comes first. What do you think, "Good Wife" fans?
