'The Hills' has an alternate ending that will be revealed this summer
Did you think that the last you'd see of "The Hills" was the final episode that aired back in 2010? In the classic words of Noah from "The Notebook," "It wasn't over. It still isn't over."
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that a new, alternate ending of "The Hills'" final episode will air during MTV's "RetroMTVBrunch" on Aug. 9 at 11:30 a.m. ET. After all, nothing sells reality TV being real like the promise of a different ending to a six-season long story.
Then again, the ending used for "The Hills" in 2010 played on the fact that the show actually was staged and scripted, something that's been discussed on numerous occasions since. This new ending is a part of encore showing of both "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills." In between the airings, which start on July 8 at 9 a.m. ET, cast members from "Girl Code" and "Awkward" will share their commentary on MTV's old reality shows.
Here is a sneak peek:
How do you think this new ending will differ?
