'The Hills': Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may not return for series finale
He was expected to take a six-week leave from the show, but as Zap2it was the first to report, that leave was made permanent after Spencer's behavior worsened.
According to Kristin Cavallari, "it got really bad with him." After watching the first few episodes of "The Hills" final season, we can see why. Spencer believes he's managing his anger by covering himself with crystals that are meant to heal his spirit. Spoiler alert: it's not helping.
Now, Us reports that Spencer's wife, Heidi Montag, may be gone for good as well. Adam Divello, the show's creator, "said he doesn't think Heidi and Spencer will come back for the series finale."
Divello apparently held a meeting with the show's female cast to discuss ideas for how to end the season, but Heidi wasn't invited. Can we really blame him? She recently filed -- and then quickly dropped -- a sexual assault lawsuit charge against him.
The ideas tossed around for the finale included a trip to Costa Rica and a movie sequel a la "Sex and the City."
