'The Hobbit's' Evangeline Lilly corrects Peter Jackson's poor Elvish

Peter Jackson has directed six movies based on J.R.R. Tolkein books, but that doesn't necessarily make him an authority on the subject matter. At least, not as far as "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" star Evangeline Lilly is concerned.

After Jackson and the cast departed Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, they took part in a press conference. After hearing a member of the media mimic the way the director says "Smaug" she felt compelled to jump in. "Never listen to Peter Jackson when it comes to the pronunciation of Elvish. Ever," she jokes. "It's not pronounced Shmaug. It's Smaug."

Of course, considering how integral Jackson is in the "Lord of the Rings" universe at this point, he's earned the right to say it however he wants. As for teasing the last movie in the "Hobbit" series, beyond what was said during the panel, Jackson admits it's his favorite. He adds, "I think it's going to be the most emotional, the most tense of the three."
