'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' trailer airs at MTV Movie Awards - Watch here

The moment we're waiting for has finally arrived! After a whole week of hyping the footage, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" trailer premiered at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and it was definitely worth being voted the can't-miss moment of the awards show.

This trailer was way more than we were expecting. It's clear that Katniss had problems much larger than just surviving the Hunger Games in "Catching Fire". President Snow is out for her blood, and he has a new ally in the form of Philip Seymour Hoffman's new Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. It looks like there's plenty of darkness going on here, and even though the trailer doesn't tease the upcoming Quarter Quell, there is a whole lot of action involved in Katniss' journey on the Victory Tour. She doesn't seem like she's happy with her new job as a beacon of hope for Panem either, as she clearly welcomes death at the end of the trailer.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin and Jena Malone. It's due in theaters on Nov. 22.
