'The Killing' adds Peter Sarsgaard, Amy Seimetz to Season 3 cast
It's the first series regular role for Sarsgaard, who earned critical acclaim for the films "Shattered Glass" and "Kinsey." He'll play a death row inmate and lifelong convict, according to TVLine.
Meanwhile, TVLine also reports Seimetz -- who made a splash in this year's buzzy Sundance Film Festival entry "Upstream Color" -- will play the struggling single mother of a missing teenager.
Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman will reprise their roles as Detectives Linden and Holder, while other new cast members include Elias Koteas ("Combat Hospital"), Max Fowler ("The Hour") and newcomer Bex Taylor-Klaus.
