Michael J. Fox returns to NBC, his home via "Family Ties" for seven seasons and "Spin City" for five seasons, with "The Michael J. Fox Show," which stars Fox as Mike Henry, a news anchor who puts his career on hold after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Five years after his pseudo-retirement, however, Henry is growing restless and when his boss wants him to return to work, he decides to give it a go. Henry is now juggling his family and his career, plus living with Parkinson's. The series also stars Wendell Pierce as his boss, Betsy Brandt as his wife and Katie Finneran as his sister Leigh.

"The Michael J. Fox" show will air as the fourth show of the Thursday night comedy lineup, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Watch the trailer above.
