Aaron Sorkin's HBO drama,
is renewed for Season 3, according to one of its stars. Jeff Daniels sent out a late night tweet Tuesday (Sept. 3) announcing the happy news.
Daniels previously said working with Sorkin on Season 2 was a different ballgame than was Season 1. "Season 2 is Aaron saying, 'We guessed right a lot the first season. Now I know what it is, who Jeff is, and what Jeff and Emily [Mortimer] can do together. I've seen it, and I've written for it,'"
Daniels tells Zap2it
. "The way it felt on the set, this was like our third or fourth season."
Daniels is nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Drama at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, which air live on CBS Sunday, Sept. 22.
