'The Office': Gabe's podcast + Oscar's blog = more off-air fun

zach-woods2-the-office-320.jpg "The Office" has frequently been great on the air over the course of its six (so far) seasons. But it's also delivered some of the best off-air experiences of recent years.

The show has consistently offered more to its fans than what airs on NBC on Thursday nights, whether it's deleted scenes, extended "producer's cuts" of episodes, webisodes and other web-based goodies. The latest? A special feature on the Season 6 DVD and Blu-ray set called "Podcast."

The webisode finds ineffectual Sabre flunky Gabe ( Zach Woods) trying to launch a podcast on the Sabre website after he learns that CEO Jo Bennett (Kathy Bates' character) has given Oscar ( Oscar Nunez) the go-ahead for a blog on the site. The blog is online for your enjoyment and will be updated throughout the season. It's called No Accounting for Taste, and in it Oscar vents about all the things that bug him (we love the reference to the Grass Roots, Creed Bratton's real-life former band, in the music entry).

A sneak peek of the webisode is below. You can see the whole thing on "The Office's" Season 6 DVD collection.
