'The Office': Halloween reveals a new side of Angela, plus new webisodes

office-halloween-320.jpg Angela Kinsey begins Thursday's (Oct. 28) Halloween episode of "The Office" dressed as a penguin. But there's a costume contest at the Scranton branch, and she eventually realizes that might not cut it.

We won't spoil what her next look is, but suffice to say that you may not ever have seen more of Angela Martin.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. I have not told my parents about this episode," Kinsey tells Zap2it. "I'm really getting nervous about the e-mail I'm going to get from my dad."

Yes, the prize -- at least in the minds of Angela the character and most of her office-mates -- is that good. Angela the actress wasn't so sure. When she heard what she'd be wearing in the episode, "I was like, 'This is a joke, right?' And I have to say, there were a few versions of that outfit, and I ruled out one that was more revealing. I was like, 'No. I can't wear that. I can't. There was waaaay too much real estate on display."

Thursday's episode is also the first full-blown "Office" Halloween for Ellie Kemper, who plays Erin. Last year, her first full season in the cast, the show confined its Halloween hijinks to the opening scene, but this year she got to spend a week in costume.

"I really got into the spirit of it," Kemper tells us. "It takes about a week to shoot an episode, so we were all dressed up for a week. And some people have more insane costumes than others. ... I don't know if I'm just simple or what, but I really laugh when I see someone in a costume."

In addition to Thursday's on-air episode, Kemper and Kinsey (along with B.J. Novak, Mindy Kaling, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Zach Woods and Creed Bratton) also star in a new series of "Office" webisodes called "The 3rd Floor." All three parts are below (you can also watch them at UniversalPictures.com in addition to the usual NBC sites).
