'The Office's' John Krasinski may join Cameron Crowe's new movie

"The Office" star (and soon-to-be father) John Krasinski is in talks to join the cast of Crowe's latest film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled movie stars Bradley Cooper as a defense contractor who falls in love with an Air Force pilot ( Emma Stone) while working on the launch of a military satellite.

The already star-studded cast also includes Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, Alec Baldwin, Jay Baruchel and Danny McBride. If a deal works out, Krasinski would play a military man who's married to McAdams' character -- who, incidentally, is the ex-wife of Cooper's character.

Krasinski and Crowe ("Almost Famous," "We Bought a Zoo") have never worked together before, but it seems like a pretty natural fit. Krasinski has donned a military uniform once before in his movie career for a co-starring role in "Jarhead."

What do you think of the (potential) casting?
