Universal Studios continues to pack a punch with their Halloween Horror Nights announcements. They've now added "The Purge" and "Curse of Chucky" to their list of scare zones at the Hollywood theme park.
"The Purge: Survive the Night" will drop visitors in the middle of a world where all crime is legal for 12 hours, even murder. You will have to survive the night, immersed in some of the movie's most memorable scenes.
Chucky, the murdering doll from "Child's Play" is getting an upgrade for the 2013 event. He's had his own show at Halloween Horror Nights before, but with the impending release of "Curse of Chucky," he now gets an entire scare zone to play in. There aren't many details about Chucky's scare zone yet, but it's sure to be terrifying and a little funny.
In addition to those, Universal Studios Hollywood has already announced mazes based on "Insidious," "The Walking Dead," Black Sabbath and "Evil Dead." Halloween Horror Nights kicks open its doors September 20 at both the Hollywood and Orlando parks.
