Actor Michael Jace, who starred on "The Shield" as Officer Julien Lowe," appeared in court Wednesday (June 18) to enter a plea of not guilty to the charge of murder in the death of his wife. Jace was taken into custody May 19 after his wife, April Jace, was found dead of gunshot wounds in their home.

According to CNN, the judge in the case set Jace's bond at $2 million and ordered him to have no contact with his children. The actor's attorney did not object to either stipulation.

Jace, himself, called 911 after the shooting. April's father did as well, claiming Jace had texted him to say he shot her. A police statement the day after the crime said the reason was believed to be domestic violence.
