'The Simpsons' trashes Fox News during 25th anniversary special

simpsons-25th-no-fox-news-fox.jpgLeave it up to "The Simpsons" to add a little bite to FOX's 25th anniversary party.

The network celebrated a quarter century on the air on Sunday (April 22) with the broadcast of the series' first episode "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire." But that's where the fun kicks in.

After the credits roll, show execs added a note saying "Congratulations FOX on 25 years...We still love you." Then in small print at the bottom of the screen it reads, "This doesn't include Fox News."

This is hardly the first time the show has gone after Fox News. Previous jabs include "Fox News: Not Racist, But #1 With Racists" and "Fox News: Unsuitable For Viewers Under 75."
