He is adapting the Stephen King short story "The Things They Left Behind" into a pilot for CBS.

According to Deadline, the network was the highest bidder for the supernatural procedural, written by Seth Grahame-Smith and following two investigators who help complete the unfinished business of the dead.

King's short story is set in the aftermath of 9/11 and was originally published in 2003. CBS's successful summer series "Under the Dome" is based on a King novel.
