Luke Mitchell: They are not dressed in capes. They are regular people living underground. They do a lot of hiding.

Zap2it : You were in "H2O: Just Add Water," an Australian series, which is also a cult favorite around the world. What was that like?

Luke Mitchell: That was a lot of fun. It was very popular. I was in Season 3, and it was a cool concept. It clinched that I love this and want to do it, and if I can get paid for it, even better.

Zap2it : You were working in Australia. Why make the huge move?

Luke Mitchell : I wanted to go to Hollywood because that's where the opportunities for me are. Enjoying what I do is a big part of it.

Zap2it : What was your training?

Luke Mitchell : It was stage-type training. I had done amateur theater shows.

Zap2it : How do you describe your character, John Young?

Luke Mitchell : He is a man who is probably being forced to grow up quicker than he was planning on doing. He is in his mid-20s. There is definitely supposed to be an age distinction between him and Stephen ( Robbie Amell) to make a love triangle.

Zap2it : There's a lot of fighting, flying, breaking through walls. Are you doing your own stunts?

Luke Mitchell : It is a lot of physicality, and it is pretty exciting with the level of stunts. The stunt doubles help us out from time to time.
