'The Tomorrow People' series premiere: Robbie Amell, Mark Pellegrino and more

the-tomorrow-people-premiere-robbie-amell-stephen-john-cara-russell-interview-cw.jpg "The Tomorrow People" is a present-day update of a British sci-fi series from the 1970s. And it is very updated indeed. The genetically advanced young adults of the show fit in perfectly with The CW. You can see this perfectly in these video interviews with the cast.

First up, Robbie Amell talks about Amell Wednesdays -- which he shares with his cousin, Stephen Amell, the star of "Arrow." Another thing shared with "Arrow"? Stunt coordinators.

Mark Pellegrino is the villain on "The Tomorrow People," Jedekiah Price. The actor gives some background on his character and Jedekiah's place on the show.

Peyton List plays Cara, a female member of the Tomorrow People, and a woman with whom Stephen has a special connection. In her interview, she also talks about action sequences as well as a potential romantic triangle.

Australian actor Luke Mitchell is John on "The Tomorrow People." As the leader of the underground group avoiding Jedekiah's ULTRA organization, John ends up in a lot of violent situations.

Finally, Aaron Yoo -- along with his dog, Merlin -- talks about Russell. Another Tomorrow Person, Russell is especially good with telekinesis. Also, Yoo has an awesome dog. Stick around until the end of the video for proof of this.

"The Tomorrow People" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
