We already know the details surrounding the five new faces we'll be introduced to on "The Vampire Diaries" when Season 5 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 10th, but we can now put two faces to the names.

Russian model/actress Olga Fonda has just been cast as the fearless, worldly, guarded, vengeance-seeking Nadia, and "Greek" alum Kendrick Sampson will take on the role of Whitmore College upperclassman Jesse, TV Guide Magazine reports.

Nadia was previously described as an Eastern European beauty, who crosses paths with Matt and Rebekah at a Prague bar -- coming on to both of them -- before delivering an ominous warning to Stefan about The Originals.

Nadia will be seen as early as Season 5 premiere, and "will ally herself with anybody -- and employ any tactic -- to further her own mysterious agenda," according to the casting breakdown. "An emotional chameleon, she can flip from stone-cold to flirtatious as it suits her needs. But the loneliness of her singular quest has taken its toll on her humanity, and she finds herself increasingly lost when it comes to genuine human connection."

Sounds like this is one femme fatale who is more than able to fill the shoes left open by Katherine since the doppelganger is now a human. What do you think Nadia's "singular quest" is, and what does she know about The Originals? And who wants to bet one of our favorite "TVD" guys will help Nadia remember what is feels like to connect with someone else ... romantically?

And as for Jesse, he was previously described as a sweet, charming, confident human with some mysterious -- yet totally understandable -- reasons for hating members of the undead. He'll be Elena and Caroline's fellow student at college, and he catches the latter's eye. But seeing as how he doesn't exactly love vampires, it sounds like this would-be relationship isn't built to last, so there's still a silver lining for Tyler.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 premieres Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
