'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 casts 4 more guest stars: Who are they playing?

On Thursday (July 17), "The Vampire Diaries" just added four more cast members for Season 6, in addition to the three previously reported. So who's playing who?

- "The Carrie Diaries" hunk Chris Wood has joined another "Diaries"-centric show, TVGuide.com reports. He will play the recurring role of Kai, a "charmingly unstable newcomer with the unsettling ability to seem normal as the situation demands." Kai is described as the perfect mix of playful and obsessive.

- "The Client List's" Marco James landed the recurring role of Liam, TheWrap reports. Coming from a family of doctors, Liam is described as a "cocky yet good-natured" med student at Whitmore College. He will first appear in the Season 6 premiere. That sounds like someone is getting a new love interest. Any guesses as to which lady (or maybe Luke?) Liam will woo?

- "Rectify" alum Jayson Warner Smith has been cast in a recurring role as well, TVLine reports. He will appear in at least two episodes of Season 6 and will play the owner of "a high-end hot rod shop." Stefan does have a penchant for vintage vehicles ... maybe his grief over losing his brother drives him (sorry, had to) to guilt-shop for new cars?

- According to EW, "Hit the Floor" star Jodi Lyn O'Keefe will play Jo, "a tough and accomplished doctor at the university hospital. She demands excellence from her students and has learned the hard way that there's no room for error in her profession." O'Keefe will first appear in the Season 6 premiere. Will Jo be Liam's professor, or will one of our favorite vamps take a sudden interest in becoming a doctor?

Previously reported new guest stars for Season 6 include Colin Ferguson as Tripp, Emily C. Chang as Ivy and Gabrielle Walsh as Sarah.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 premieres Thursday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
