The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is more than just women stripping down to their undies.

The Tuesday, Dec. 10, special on CBS is a full-on fashion show, an event, with pulsating musical numbers, grand designs and -- oh, yes -- those superhuman-looking women, the Victoria's Secret Angels.

Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy and Neon Jungle perform. The sets change dramatically with each collection, from a British invasion to a shipwreck, a foggy night in Paris, an odd "anime meets the 1980s" and a winter wonderland, even if so very few women tend to wear nothing but lingerie and feathers in snowstorms. This is all about fantasy.

Doutzen Kroes, who has been in every Victoria's Secret Fashion Show since 2005 -- except for the year she had her baby -- chatted with Zap2it about what it takes to strut this walkway.

All women, even stunning Dutch supermodels, have their share of insecurities, she says. Kroes deals by preparing for the show well ahead.

"It is kind of like a balance between the physical and mental thing, thinking about this moment," she says the day before the show's Nov. 13 taping in Manhattan's 69th Regiment Armory.

"I work out more and get superexcited, and right before, I get very nervous, Kroes says . "I have done everything I could. I work out a lot. It is super nerve-racking. A lot of time, unconsciously, I am thinking about it since August. I am superexcited now, and when we get into hair and makeup tomorrow I am fine. One hour before, a half hour before, I get supernervous."

"It's like when I look at the other girls, too," she continues. "We are like every woman. We have our insecurities. Just because from us it is expected to look close to perfect for us, it is even harder because no one is perfect; everybody has their flaws. We try not to show them."

Candice Swanepoel is the first model down the huge glitter catwalk, and she wears a $10 million bra. Yes, $10 million for one bra, but it does include a 52-carat pear-shaped ruby and some 4,200 other rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires.

Union Jacks billow from the ceiling as Behati Prinsloo makes the Queen's Guard look sexy in a tailored waistcoat and black feather wings over the "sexy little things cheekini panty."

Also during the British Invasion segment of the show, Swift flounces down the runway wearing a Union Jack glitter minidress ensemble, featuring one sleeve and a floating train, with open-toe Union Jack high-heeled booties and a hat resembling a child's birthday party topper.

Karlie Kloss makes the crowd of roughly 1,260 gasp when she comes out, unfurling psychedelic, hand-painted butterfly wings that have a Peter Max look to them. She wears matching gloves and thigh-high stockings over extraordinarily high platforms. Her main outfit is a pink push-up bra with matching panties.
