Coach Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert performed a duet dedicated to their home state at the top of the hour on Tuesday's (May 21) episode. The country couple took the stage with Lambert's touching ballad, "Over You." Shelton accompanied his wife on the guitar, letting her handle the track on her own. The performance was accompanied by an on-screen number for American Red Cross donations.
A recap episode of "The Voice" planned to lead in to Tuesday's live show was pre-empted by a NBC News special covering the tragedy, hosted by Brian Williams live from Oklahoma.
