"The Voice" coach Adam Levine's band Maroon 5 is releasing their fifth album, appropriately titled "V," the band announced in a statement on Monday (May 19). That would be "V," as in the roman numeral for five, not the letter. Cute.

The album, due on Sept. 2, is the followup to 2012′s "Overexposed." "V" is notable not just for the multiple singles and radio hits it will no doubt produce, because it reunites the band with Jesse Carmichael, Maroon 5's longtime keyboard player. Other rumored collaborators for the album are Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, and Shellback, and the first single is expected to be released this summer.

So when will you be able to see the new music in action? Maroon 5 is expected to announce tour dates sometime in the next few weeks, as they just signed a worldwide tour deal with Live Nation.
