'The Voice': E.G. Daily, the voice of Tommy Pickles, auditions and stuns
Night two of blind auditions on "The Voice" brought out one contestant who knows a thing or two about just how powerful a voice can be. On Tuesday's (Sept. 24) episode of NBC's hit show, E.G. Daily hit the stage -- that's right, the voice of "Rugrats" character Tommy Pickles.
Daily, who also starred as Dottie in "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure," auditioned for Season 5 of "The Voice" because, even though she's had a ridiculously successful career, she's never been known as herself -- only the characters her voice brought to life.
Looking to change all that, Daily stormed the "Voice" stage with a performance of "Breathe" that drove coaches CeeLo Green and Blake Shelton wild. While Green attempted appealed to Daily's vanity by illustrating his knowledge and love of her career, the erstwhile "Rugrats" star opted to go with Shelton because, as she said, "I don't want to play the V.O. card. I want to be here for my singing."
Were you excited to see Daily on "The Voice" and do you think she'll be able to make it far?
