'The Voice': Miranda Lambert to duet with Dia Frampton
Country superstar Miranda Lambert will perform with finalist Dia Frampton on "The Voice's" June 29 live finale. Lambert's husband Blake Shelton is Frampton's coach on the show.
"I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show. It's been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team," Lambert, 27, says in a press release. "Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. I can't wait to be a part of it."
"Miranda is an amazing artist and it will be fascinating to see her blend her talents with those of Dia. This special duet is what 'The Voice' represents to our audience," Paul Telegdy, NBC and Universal Media Studios' executive vice president of universal programming, says in a statement. "Together, Miranda and Blake, who represent a true power couple in country music, will help provide a memorable finale for our first season."
On Thursday, June 23, Frampton tweeted Lambert, "Thanks so much for the flowers !They're beautiful & the card made me cry(again)I'm glad you are a part of Team Blake too!"
Frampton will compete against Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez in the finale.
