'The Voice' results: The Top 10 sheds two - Who went home?

josiah-hawley-usher-michelle-chamuel-the-voice-nbc.jpgOn Tuesday's (May 21) episode of "The Voice," the Top 10 shed a little dead weight, with two more artists let go based on America's vote. It could've been a dicey night for coaches Usher and Shakira, who each only had two singers left in the game at the top of the hour. Would the evening end with a coach's team empty? Or might Adam Levine and Blake Shelton lose one of their artists?

First, a little music: Blake takes the stage with wife Miranda Lambert to perform a touching tribute to the Oklahoma tornado victims. After that, Shakira takes the stage with her team on "I'll Stand By You." This seems to continue the theme of honoring those who've been touched by tragedy in Oklahoma this week. It's wonderful take on the song, with Sasha Allen sounding particularly great.

Oh, look it's Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel. They're taking the whole audience to tonight's premiere of the newest "Fast & Furious." Hooray?

The first two artists safe: Team Blake's Danielle Bradbery and Team Adam's Judith Hil l

Reaction: Duh. Were these two ever in doubt?

Team Blake takes the stage with "Mountain Music." It's a hootenanny.

Next two artists safe: Team Usher's Michelle Chamuel and Team Shakira's Sasha

Reaction: It's interesting that Michelle was saved over teammate Josiah Hawley. Only on "The Voice."

More music: Usher takes the stage with his team to perform "The Look of Love." Those people on the stage, pretending to be at a lounge must have been so uncomfortable. That looked just a little silly, in my humble opinion.

The next artist safe: Team Adam's Sarah Simmons

Reaction: Only one this time? They're really drawing this out. However, it's not surprising that Sarah is the artist safe. This evening is shaping up just as it should.

Team Adam takes the stage with "I Got The Music In Me." They sound great, as if there was ever any doubt.

The next artist safe: Team Blake's Holly Tucker

Reaction: I'm not surprised that Holly is moving on. Her song surely touched a lot of people in need last night. What will be interesting to see is if The Swon Brothers make it through in the final elimination.

The last two artists saved: Team Adam's Amber Carrington and Team Blake's The Swon Brothers

Eliminated: Team Usher's Josiah and Team Shakira's Kris Thomas

Did the right two go home, "Voice" fans?
