On Monday (Aug. 26), the network revealed that OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder has come aboard.

Initially reported by E! News, Tedder has been tapped to help out coach Adam Levine and his team during Season 5's Battle Rounds. In past seasons, Team Adam has been mentored by Alanis Morissette, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum.

Tedder, who's also the songwriter behind some of Beyonce and Demi Lovato's biggest hits, joins the previously announced Ed Sheeran, who will serve as advisor to Christina Aguilera's team.

Season 5 of "The Voice" premieres Monday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with the Battle Rounds set to air on Oct. 14 and 15.

Do you think Tedder will make a good advisor?
