"The Walking Dead" has added another new actor for Season 4. As the show heads towards its midseason finale, Andrew J. West has been added for a part that will appear in the second half.

Expect the "Greek" alum to stick around for a bit, as well. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that West will be credited as a "guest star" in Season 4, and has the option of being upped to a series regular next season.

West will play a character named Gareth, who isn't found in "The Walking Dead" comics. It's being reported that he'll be a "remix" of an "unidentified character from the series," and that he is a "big presence" and plays an "important character" in the show.

Other major characters from the comics still yet to be introduced in Season 4 are Michael Cudlitz as Abraham, Josh McDermitt as Eugene and Christian Serratos as Rosita. "The Walking Dead" airs Sundays on AMC at 9 p.m.
